I finally got to see Bleachers play at Shadow of the City in Asbury Park, NJ. It was absolutely amazing. The feeling to be in a crowd surrounded by Bleachers fans again is indescribable. I couldn't believe I was there, finally seeing the show that I have been waiting for and planning for almost two and a half years. The wait was worth it.

Bleachers played for two hours. They opened with "91". And then got the crowd warmed up with "Let's Get Married" and kept the energy up until giving us all a break to breath with "Wake Me" and a cover of "Jersey Girl". Mid-set, Jack tried to convince the crowd to get on each others shoulders for "Rollercoaster". It's stupid and uncomfortable, but I (reluctantly) got on my boyfriend's shoulders for the entire song. It was definitely a different wait to view the show. I much prefer dancing with my feet on the ground. I was scared I was going to fall the entire time. If you haven't gone to the tour yet, just don't listen to Jack, stay on the ground and dance and sing as loud as you can.

We got a total of 25 songs...but when the set was over I still wanted more. Too bad they played "How Dare You Want More early in the set, would have been a great one to close with.
